SAFETY FIRST
We’re all about the thrill, but safety is always our #1 priority!
ADVENTURE ISLAND SAFETY
Your adventure will begin with a video describing the structure and rules for play. All swimmers must be geared up with a life jacket - a requirement to participate. Adventure Island attendants are positioned throughout the floating water park to ensure safety for all participants. Participants must exit the Adventure Island course midway between each 100-minute session for at least 10 minutes. This break allows our team to reset and prepare for the next group of adventurers.
Bear Paw Adventure Park does not offer refunds for activities affected by weather, except in the case of thunderstorms or extreme winds. The park remains open under most weather conditions. If the park closes due to thunder, lightning, or extreme winds, and guests are unable to participate in their purchased activity for at least 50% of the time, a return credit will be issued. Guests are required to visit our onsite ticket booth on the day of the closure to request the credit. Requests for return credits cannot be made after the day of the closure.
No swimming under inflatables or removing life vests during your Adventure Island session. No flipping, horseplay, or jumping from one obstacle to another. Please make sure to look at the water below you before jumping. Please, only one person climbing on an obstacle at a time.
Minimum age to jump on Adventure Island is 6 years old. Minimum height is 42”. Maximum weight is 275 lbs. We also strongly recommend that each person under age 14 has a buddy. Persons 15 and up may adventure solo.
Guests using the Mini Adventure Island Kid’s Course must be between 4-6 years old and be 39”-59” tall. A parent or guardian must be near their child using the course at all times. Adults are not permitted on the course.
Please Note: In order to enhance the safety of our guests, lifeguards will be stationed on the beach, on the Adventure Island water course and the kids water course (Mini Adventure Island).
Lifeguards do not replace the need and requirement for parents/guardians to monitor their child's swimming activities at all times. In essence, children under 14 must be supervised by an adult, 18+ years, at all times. Anyone behaving in an unsafe (including the failure to supervise children) or destructive manner will be removed from the swimming area.
Weight & Age Restrictions
Participants must be between 45-250 lbs and 42”- 75” (3’6” - 6’3”) in height. All participants must be able to reach 70" while standing flat-footed to go on the course unassisted. We will verify guest requirements upon arrival. If a guest cannot reach 70", they must be accompanied by a buddy who is 14 years old or older. Each buddy can assist up to 2 people. Buddies are subject to the same requirements.
